Surfboards

Surfboards

Hawaiians created the sport of surfing and made their first boards out of wood. Later boards were made of polyurethane foam, which was molded into "blanks" and then shaped to suit the rider. Béhar finds the shape inspiring, "especially longboards that allow us to ride any kind of wave."
