On the occasion of the new Gram Parsons biography Twenty Thousand Roads, designer Manuel talks to Michael Walker about the iconic Nudie Suit he created for Gram Parsons. Nudie Suits were first created by Nudie Cohn of Nudie Rodeo Tailors, who became known as The Rhinestone Cowboy, outfitting everyone from Elvis Presley in a $10,000 gold lamé suit, to the famous marijuana leaves suit worn by Gram Parsons.
